Get the Body Shape You Want With CoolSculpting®

You work hard to stay in shape. You eat right and exercise, but you’re still not seeing the results you want. You may think you’ve done the best that you can do, so you just have to learn to live with your body.

But that’s far from the truth. One treatment that can change your body, often with dramatic results, is CoolSculpting®

Our providers at eleven19 Medical + Weight Loss offer a wide variety of treatments to help transform your body, far beyond what diet and exercise can do. Learn more about how CoolSculpting can change your body.

What is CoolSculpting?

CoolSculpting is an FDA-cleared method for getting rid of unsightly fat bulges. It works well on your abdomen, back (especially around the bra straps), flanks, thighs, and chin, and underneath your buttocks.

Even better, this method is noninvasive, so you don’t have to go under the knife. Instead, CoolSculpting uses cryolipolysis, a term that means that it freezes your fat cells and causes them to die off.

What CoolSculpting is like

CoolSculpting is different from any other procedure you may have had. For starters, there aren’t any incisions, because, as we mentioned earlier, it’s not surgery. Fat freezes at a higher temperature than skin, which allows us to freeze your fat cells without damaging the surrounding skin.

We hold the part of your body being treated between two paddles, which we keep in place for 35-75 minutes.

You may feel some tugging, pinching, and pulling during the procedure, but most of our clients don’t experience any pain.

You can return to your normal activities immediately after the CoolSculpting procedure. You may feel some numbness and tingling, but nothing that prevents you from returning to your daily activities. You may also experience swelling, bruising, and sensitivity.

When to expect results from CoolSculpting

CoolSculpting is very effective, but it doesn’t produce immediate results. It takes some time for the frozen fat cells to die off, so most people see gradual results over a couple of months.

Your immune system begins to clear some of the dead fat cells from your body within a few weeks after the procedure. Eventually, about 20-25% of your fat cells die off.

Who shouldn’t have CoolSculpting

Not everyone is a candidate for CoolSculpting. If you have Reynaud’s syndrome, you should not have CoolSculpting. Similarly, it’s not recommended for people with the following conditions:

Similarly, CoolSculpting can’t really help if you need to lose weight first. It’s intended for removing stubborn pockets of fat, not for helping you to lose large amounts of weight.

If you have areas of fat that you just can’t get rid of on your own, it’s time to consider CoolSculpting. Call one of our eleven19 medical spas today or book an appointment online. We’re located in Fullerton, Santa Ana, and Ontario, California.
